She is simply wonderful, attentive and very professional. I feel very safe under Dr. Thomas's care. She is very patient and explains everything, always recommending her, and if I have more children I hope to have her as my doctor again. I am honored and very fortunate to have known them.

What a great doctor! She delivered my 2 daughters and if I could choose a person to do that again I would choose Dr. Thomas again with no regrets!
She's so kind, patient, sweet, respectful, professional and supportive. And also is her staff! Together they are a great team!
She is the perfect person to deliver babies. We can see through her way to be that she loves what she does! I'm just proud of having a Dr. like her to take care of me.
She could say just looking to me if I was fine or if I would have any concerns, because she really cares about her patients, she's very human.
She doesn't rush your visit, she really look into your eyes, and listen to all your questions, so you can come home with no doubts.
So if you're looking for a GYN to take care of you, or even better looking for an OB to take care of you and of your baby, you can look for Dr. Shontell N. Thomas at Ochsner in Kenner. I'm really sure she will do her best for you and for your babies.

I had to wait for an 1 hour to see the doctor. On the one hand, this may mean that she spends ample time with her patients. However, the office staff could do a better job of notifying waiting patients if there is a delay in the schedule.

I'm so happy that I selected Dr. Thomas as my doctor. She is very knowledgeable and very friendly. She took her time to explain my condition and completed my surgery with no problems.
