He is a great and very experienced doctor. Went for diverticulitis and made a surgery removing part of my colon. Surgery was big but done professionally. Doctor Milanchi explains everything to his patients, answers all question and follows up regularly.

I went in for diverticulosis and he explain well to me and husband regarding this had ct and went in for results he told me point by point my results his very to the point takes his time I don’t feel rushed at all thank you. And his staff is friendly and always responds back very soon by email or call thank you very much

I was referred to Dr. Milanchi by a friend/neighbor who is also a doctor at Hoag. Dr. Milanchi’s bedside manner was caring and personable. He educated me on my situations, and he followed through with everything he said. My surgery went well and the follow-up apportionments were always personable. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Dr. Milanchi. Also, his office staff is great, and I never have to wait long when I arrive for my appointment. I honestly wish all doctors are like him. I had emergency colon surgery in February 2022. Mr. Milanchi was my assigned surgeron after I was discharged (8 nights at Hoag Newport). Dr. Milanchi was excellent in all respects during the 8 months the recover took until the 2nd corrective surgery. He was very clear as to what was gong on, answered all questions, and performed the 2nd surgery as well as I could have hoped. I would highly recommend him. His office staff is also great, on time, and they answer the phone when you call!

Absolutely the best! Such a great surgeon, so caring, knowledgeable, professional, attentive, and responsive. I knew he was good when the oncologist got excited to hear the surgeon is Dr. Milanchi! Then I knew he was excellent when all the nurses in the hospital said that they loved working with him because he returns their calls/messages within 5 minutes when other doctors are off and not to found after 7pm! I was diagnosed as a colon cancer and Dr. Milanchi helped me getting the right surgery. His care for patients are beyond the standard. The best surgeon you can ever meet! My family and relatives are not only impressed but also grateful for taking of me so professionally and gently.

It has been a month since my surgery (colon resection/sigmoidectomy for diverticulitis), and I am doing great! Dr. Milanchi has been amazing with the entire process, explaining everything in great detail to me (risk vs benefits), and taking care and time to answer all my questions (had a lot lol!). I am so grateful that I found such a wonderful doctor and experienced, detail oriented surgeon. Even with a bit of a delay for the surgery due to Covid, the wait was well worth the outcome! In addition, his office team (Baily, Betty, and the rest) are the best I have come across; very caring, pleasant, and accommodating! Dr. Milanchi helped me through two incredible difficult surgeries. I called in the early hours after staying up all night in incredible pain. His team helped me get in to see him as soon as possible. He rushed me to the nearby hospital for emergency surgery and provided me with excellent care. He was so helpful patient with all of my questions and always respectful and considerate of my needs and concerns. He took the time to explain everything in the healing process. He even replied to emails and voicemails over the weekends. It was because of him that I was able to fully heal with little complications. A special note on his amazing team. The people working in his office were so kind and helpful. They would always greet me with a Smile and understanding. Ever accommodating, they made our weekly visits a pleasant experience. They made my LOA work simple and hassle free. I am forever grateful for their hard work even in the crazy COVID times. Thank you Dr. Milanchi and Team.

Dr. Milanchi is fantastic!!!!!! He prescribed Metamucil to add fiber to bulk up the waste in my bowels and it worked! No more problems! He said to avoid surgery as it wouldn’t be the answer for my condition. I have had the best results from him and my three other Iranian Doctors! They all know what they are talking about! I highly recommend Dr. Milanchi !!!!!

Having colon cancer is not a happy time. Dr. Milanchi pulled no punches, he told me what to expect, what the procedure would be and repeatedly ask me if i had anymore questions.
