Dr. Susan Oakley, MD

I was treated like a queen and pain instantaneously went away because of the treatment I got from doctor Oakley. It was far above and beyond my expectation.

Dr. Oakley and her colleagues have taught me more about my female anatomy in the last few months than I ever learned from my mother, my school health classes, or the three doctors who played catcher for my pregnancies. As I navigate menopause, she makes it clear why I'm having certain symptoms, how to treat them and what to expect. There's no shame or prissiness in this practice--just great care and education.

Funny and informative. However, Dr. Oakley does need to work on her cultural intelligence and not call people of color “sensitive and judgey”. Im hoping this was just a one off incident and hopefully it stems from being a sheltered southern doctor and not racism. I loved the process and staff. I would recommend others to go.

At first they pretend to care and give you hope, only to stress you out and leave you hopeless. Shame on this entire staff. The office coordinator has zero compassion. Women please go elsewhere.

I seen Dr. Oakly 1 time she was very nice a year later my family Dr sent me to see her because I was urinating blood and in severe pain and her staff will not schedule me a apt with her because I seen her once so they will only let me see the nurse practitioner don’t know what I am going to do hope it’s nothing serious it’s sad she is such a nice Dr but your only aloud to see her one time I hope it’s nothing serious. I don’t know anyone who pee’s blood and has pain And would be told they can’t see the Dr that they were specificity referred to the staff should be fired!

OMG, where to start. Getting and appt was a nightmare; Oakley is unpleasant and odd and her entire staff is incompetent. I called several times to discuss POSSIBLY rescheduling, but all I ever got was a voicemail. I had to leave a message. I wanted to find out if there was a better appt time but, because the appt setter CANCELLED my original appt, I had to wait another three weeks to see the doc. The outgoing message for the nurse’s line says something about if your issue is urgent but not an emergency, to call back and speak with the appointment lin. I had to do this both times my medication was supposed to be sent to the pharmacy. This after several calls to the nurse’s line and an email directly to Dr. Oakley herself. Oakley seems to be the kind of doc that expects her patients to take her diagnosis as law, do what she says and not ask questions. If you do ask questions, she gets out the talking-down-the-crazy-person voice and uses veiled scare tactics to get you to comply.

I was hesitant to see her but she was recommended by my primary care practitioner. I was able to get a same day appointment, and was pleasantly surprised. She definitely has a sense of humor, is caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and was able to pinpoint the problem I followed her advice and my symptoms have almost cleared without surgery. She made me feel so comfortable and cared for. I would recommend anyone with a problem that needs a urogynecoogist, see her. You will not be disappointed.

She did not find a growth in my female parts.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Oakley. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field. Takes the time to answer all your questions and never hurries you out She leaves you knowing your in the best hands and you walk away feeling like family. She corrected a problem I had seen other doctors for over the years and I couldn't be any happier.

Dr. Oakley was very informative about my treatment and surgery. She took time to listen and to answer any questions that I had. She has a very comforting manner with her patients.

This was my first visit and I was not disappointed. She was nice and knowledgable.
