Dr. Scott took my case from the ED department at Sewickley Hospital in March of 2019 after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I, until, the end of December of this past year, have been under his care. Since that time, I’ve been on a number of different MS DMT’s with little benefit and severe side effects in some cases. Other medications given to “manage” symptoms have also not been tolerated well and significant weight gain has been an ongoing problem to which his and his PA’s, Kara’s, continued response is to “work out more”. My mobility is continually getting worse. My symptoms are more frequent and in the last several months I’ve lost control of my bladder and bowels as well on occasion. I’m 42 years old. Again, they do NOTHING! Every single time I’m either directed to Scott’s PA, Kara, who does even less than Scott or finally able to see Scott who I feel Medically Gaslights me the entire visit. Not the way I choose to handle my chronic disease. I decided to go elsewhere.

I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 12 years ago here in Erie Pennsylvania by Dr. Leonard Leone.. I have never seen any images of my MRIs, until I met Dr. Scott last week.. I have always questioned having MS, (since nothing has changed in 12 years) always wondering if it was something else I was suffering from.. When I would question Dr. Leone I was always shut down.. I give all the praise, and respect to Dr. Scott for his honesty showing me my images, and going over the last 12 years of my life with me to indeed find out I was misdiagnosed..???? I do NOT have MS, 12 years of daily injections that I did NOT need..?? He travels to Erie once a month to see patients at Saint Vincent Hospital it was by faith I made an appointment with him, he’s a genuine passionate man.. I’ve been dealing with an arrogant DO for 12 years, it’s refreshing having a MD that specializes in multiple sclerosis care for me as Dr. Scott does..

Great Doc, excellent experience in the crusade in finding medications to conquer multiple sclerosis. In spite of what appears to be apathy in his demeanor, that is his personality and he means no harm. I have known him over twenty years both professionally and as a patient. I would recommend him with high accolades.

Like other review he contradicted himself. Like 2 different doctors and was very cold and dismissive. Offered no insight on possible diagnosis. Also refuses to release testing he ordered

Dr. Scott is the worst doctor we have seen at AGH. We have wasted two years in hopes that he could help my husband. Because we were told that he was the premier specialist for my husbands condition. He has hurt my family to the very core. He even left us sit in a exam room for over two hours because he was busy getting his picture taken. He gave my husband a solid diagnosis in August (the appointment he forgot about us), and three months later he contradicted himself on every point.
