So grateful for Dr. Ng
I am so glad to have had Dr. Ng as my surgeon for my hysterectomy. I was almost dissuaded from sticking with her because of some of the bad reviews on here, but she demonstrated a level of understanding and patience with my concerns that surpassed most other health professionals I've encountered, and I ultimately felt very confident in her. First, she was thorough: she noticed something in my history that NO other gynecologist had noticed and is responsible for getting me on the right treatment track. Second, she didn't rush me and took the time to answer every question I had, no matter how small. Third, she went out of her way to offer solutions to discomfort and anxiety around medical procedures and bad past experiences that other gynecologists had never bothered with or even acknowledged. Finally, she was a very competent and experienced surgeon -- my procedure went smoothly and I knew exactly what to expect. I am SO grateful for Dr. Ng.

Messed up my belly button
I had surgery with Dr. Ng and she messed up my belly button really badly. I wanted a laparoscopy but she made a big cut on my belly button. If I had known, I would have had a c-section cut instead so at least I could wear a bikini. Now I have 3 laparoscopy scars plus my belly button cut. And the worst part is that she insisted it was laparoscopy and that we talked about it before but I know we did not plus I take notes and had drawn a picture with her what the cuts would be like and it was supposed to all be laparoscopic so small. I didn’t give her only 1 star because she was otherwise nice and Kaiser has always been good for me. Their rooms are clean and workers all nice and they validate parking if you have to wait too long.

Problems after surgery
Seemed like nice doctor but was not a competent surgeon. She couldn’t finish my surgery. I had 2 fibroids and she could only take out one so now I need to see another surgeon to do it and take more time off work that I can not afford. She took out my ovary too that I did not want her to do and now I have a lot of side effect problems from my hormones being lowered. I rather see a less nice doctor but who is a competent surgeon. She said my ovary looked suspicious but the lab report said it was a normal ovary. I think she did it by mistake. I can not go back to see her. I lost all trust in her.

Nice person but bad surgeon – Sep 07, 2023

I love seeing Dr. Ng for my care. She is one of the most professional, courteous, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable provider that I have ever met. Every time I went to see her, I felt like I was receiving top notch care. She was concerned with my well-being and I can vouch that Dr. Ng was truly invested in my health. It’s rare to find a doctor like her nowadays. I have recommended Dr. Ng to my friends on numerous occasions and will continue to do so in a heart beat.

She is a bad Doctor. My wife, had a common surgery. After all,she had to end up in ICU without food and water and on life support for one month. And,because of this "DOCTOR" mistake, she had to go for another surgery. Now,my wife is in the process of recovering in rehab. I wouldn't recommend this "DOCTOR" to nobody. Think twice+before you choose her.

Please do not let Dr. Ng perform surgery on you. Whether it is her general lack of skill or her lack of experience, Dr. Ng is not capable and trustworthy as a doctor and surgeon. She performed surgery on me that has caused serious and irreparable damage. Her treatment destroyed my uterus to an extent that I am no longer able to have children (condition is called Asherman's disease). Specialists have confirmed that Dr. Ng has caused this damage.
