Absolutely horrible, my health has been put in jeopardy due to this doctor, he would rather I have open brain surgery for a common benign cyst than continue my treatment that has shown an improvement for my general health and was diagnosed and treated by two other endocrinologist, instead now my insurance has discontinued my treatment coverage. His suggestion was to stop medication to see if I'm really affected by this medical condition, to let my body's natural production be restored... The reason I am on treatment in the first place is because my natural levels are NOT OK. Ignoring over almost a half a dozen blood exams in the previous 10 months proving low markers in that hormone, and two other doctors treatment and management of my condition as well recent blood test before and after that my health is better after staring treatment. Still all that matters is how He feels about it. Horrible... I felt insulted during his insinuations and comments, and now I am In a very bad spot.

Dr Eranki is a very good Dr he explains everything in full detail he sits down and discusses your situation very thoroughly and listens to your questions he is very professional

His knowledge of Diabetes is very extensive and he also talks with you just a darn good doctor

Dr. Eranki may be spectacular for treating diabetes, but hypothyroid patients should consider choosing another physician. If you have the misfortune of falling in the low end of the TSH spectrum (below the peak at about 1), he will likely keep you at a levothyroxine dose which is too low. Your T4 and T3 can be in the center of the normal range, and your hypothyroid symptoms finally resolved with the current dose, but if your TSH test result falls below 1 - he will fixate on that single TSH factor, ignoring multiple other indications and test indications, and will insist that you need to reduce your dose. He literally stated that the important thing is how HE feels about your levels. (How you are feeling doesn’t seem important). Studies that found roughly 30% of the population with normally functioning thyroid glands exhibit a TSH below 1 is seemingly irrelevant to him.

Dr. Eranki is brilliant in treating diabetes. He is young but is very thorough with every aspect of my life and how it relates to getting the blood sugars down. He is willing to listen to what I have read or researched and then tells me why that is applicable or how it is not. He answers questions to my satisfaction, he is has a fun sense of humor but doesn't want to just visit and waste our time together. My A1C's went from 10.3 to 6.6 under his guidance and my vigilance.
