Dr. Wadid Zaky Salama, MD

Dr Zaky is the best! We are lucky to have him on the Eastern Shore. He provides patient-centered treament with knowledge and care!

I had an appointment with Dr. Zaky on October 3 and I was in excruciating pain. He talk to me and told me he would fit me in for injection in a few weeks and schedule me for the hospital in about six weeks. I have only just gotten my appointment for November 30. I really feel like his office staff has dropped the ball because Dr. Zaky is the most caring doctor there is and has always done exactly what he said he would do, I don’t know what’s changed but I know it’s not him. It Has to be the office staff.

SHOWS NO INTEREST IN MY WIFE TO HELP HER WITH ISSUE

I’ve been seeing Dr. Zaky for the past couple months. He has helped me out tremendously. He’s knows what he’s talking about and believes he can fix the problem without having you take a pill. My pain was in a result to a car accident and it took 3 years but I’m glad I met him. I definitely recommend him.

Dr. Zacky has provided me with a nearly pain free life for he first time in 40 years. The stimulator implanted in my back has provided me with pain relief in my lower back and legs. I am extremely satisfied.

This is a testament to the thoroughness and caring patient concerns of Dr. Zaky Salama after several years of spinal nerve pain and painful nerve spasms. After appointments with six doctors: spine centers, neuro-surgeon, neurologist and pain relief specialist and too many pain pills, heating pads, patches and missing quality family events my first appointment with Dr.Zaky was late May, 2020.. During this appointment he outlined a plan for treatment; we take “baby steps” and first he wanted an MRI from a specific MRI center because of their accuracy! He gave me a date for my first “procedural visit” and I would have a cortisone injection. I have had them but he reminded me he did these “differently!” His accuracy with this injection was so vital and it has now lasted most of the summer!! He since gave me a second one to ensure it will last even longer! I am 79 years old, an active adult, and now can look forward to feeling well and enjoying my lifestyle!!

I am a patient of and attended Dr. Zaky's Pain Rehab Program in June, 2019. He is a great doctor and has developed a top notch, world class Pain Rehab Program for those that suffer from chronic pain. It was a 2 week long class room style learning environment that included learning about alternative pain controlling methods. It was well worth my time and co-pay. It is refreshing for my doctor to listen to me in that I don't want to take all kind of drugs that keep me in the bed all day. I want to be able to live my life out of bed and get some exercise. I don't want to be a prisoner of my pain. Dr. Zaky listened to me and his other chronic pain patients. He developed a great program to address our pain. I would recommend this program to anyone suffering from chronic pain. It is worth your time!

I have to follow up on my review of February 7, 2019. I continue to see Dr. Zaky because of his genuine and compassionate care. It is clear that his goal is to get me out of pain. Based on my experience I have been happy to recommend to neighbor to Dr. Zaky.

In September 2018 Dr Z implanted a spinal stimulator for pain management. I had 3 prior back surgeries that did not help with pain management. Since the implant I take no pain meds & pain level fell to 2-3 from 8-10 on a 1-10 pain level chart. I would have the surgery again if necessary in the future.

i was having problems with walking and standing i couldnt walk half way across walmart with out so much pain i had to sit down went to dr zaky office turned out i had spinal stenosis and siatica and buldging disc he had a display in his office it was a spinal stimulator i had surgery to have it installed in my back and it made a big diffrence in my life i am able to walk farther and better then i was thank you so much you made a difference in my life thank you so much i am blessed i met you

A doctor that was easy to discuss my problems with my pain and he was so very helpful in my desire to get rid of my pain meds. After 6 spinal surgeries, I have been prescribed pain meds for over 20 years. Thank you Dr Zaky for all your help and understanding, I am now off these addictive meds and feel so much better.

I met with Dr. Zaky the first time and he explained a lot of things I did not know about a spinal cord stimulator and within a short period of time we did the trial on it and the trial as far as I’m concern was a blessing in itself because I had No leg pain or lower back pain Two days before the trial ended I met with the rep from MedTronic’s and he tried to adjusted that it would cover a portion of my upper back work very well for someone that’s been in pain for 25 years Dr. Zaky is great !!!!

I was in severe pain, thank stop Dr Zaky I am back to activity with no pain. Highly recommended.
