No complaints, good family doctor
Been going to Dr for more than a decade. No complaints other than a bit more turnover with NP's than I'd like although that's probably par for the post Covid period we live in. Find DO's are a bit more holistic than MD's. A few too many referrals to specialists but that's probably because I'm getting old.

My father got covid and Dr. Koo’s treatment was to “wait it out.” Now after talking to various coworkers, friends, and family members who contracted covid, their doctors chose to treat it aggressively. Perhaps my father would have had a different outcome and still be alive today if Dr. Koo would have done the same.

I like Dr Koo but I've had trouble getting the office to order my meds. I've been trying for 5 months now. (These are meds that they've prescribed.) I've been unable to drive bc of a concussion and dizziness so, a few months ago (Jan x2 then in Feb or March, then at least twice in May), I asked them to call in my prescriptions to my mail order pharmacist. They said they would. They told me not to drive . I told them I had no way to get my meds at the local pharmacy so they promised to call into the mail order pharmacy. 3 weeks ago, I had to go in bc of high blood pressure so I asked Jen Shallert again. I told them I was out of some meds and almost out of others. She again told me not to drive & promised to call the mail order pharmacy ASAP. They still haven't called the meds in. They don't seem to care either. They can schedule a special appt for my BP but won't bother to call in my BP (or thyroid, asthma, migraine, tourette's) meds. Not sure how to get them to act on this.

My husband goes to her. He is on BP meds. She doesn't do any checks on him or how his medication is working. She just refills his script. I don't think this is normal or taking very good care of any patient. I have to see my doc every 3 to 4 months to check my BP and do labs yearly. She should be doing the same. My husband goes to her because she let's him push her around and not follow medical protocol.
