Ashley Ames, FNP

This NP is unusual in three ways: (1) she's an oncology NP but can discuss urology, cardiology and other specialties as if that's what she studied; (2) she seems to have a trick memory because she can discuss your blood tests results, what you scored and what the normal range is, without looking at notes or the report, and somehow not just the new report but earlier ones so she can tell you the trends; (3) instead of telling you what to do as if it's the word of God, she always tells why, what benefit you get or what trouble you avoid. Also instead of saying to most questions, "I'll ask the doctor to explain that," if she knows, she tells you. Like many or most doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering she was probably the smartest kid in the class.
