Biography: Dr. Ishaq Y. Syed grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship-trained in spine surgery. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University where he graduated as a member of Tau Beta Pi. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. He went on to complete his residency at Rush University Medical Center and his fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Ishaq Y. Syed actively participates in teaching orthopedic residents as well as conducting spine research. He is highly skilled in both traditional and minimally invasive surgeries. Before coming to Dallas, he was practicing at Resurgens Orthopaedics in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Ramnath received his medical degree from North Eastern Ohio University, College of Medicine. He went on to do his orthopedic surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, and his fellowship in spine surgery at the Texas Back Institute in Plano. Biography: Junyoung Jon Ahn, M.D. is an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at the Texas Back Institute. He then earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology cum laude from the University of Texas. Dr. Ahn earned his Doctorate of Medicine at University of Texas Southwestern. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Rush University Medical Center followed by his fellowship training in spine surgery at the Harvard program in Boston.Dr. Ahn specializes in degenerative spine conditions and spinal instability. Dr. Ahn has authored numerous full-length journal articles, book chapters, and other publications. Outside of the Clinic and operating room he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and playing golf and tennis.

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Jose Reyna, MD is a board-certified, fellowship trained spine surgeon. Dr. Reyna attended medical school at the University of California San Diego and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Dr. Reyna has 20 years' experience and spent 6 years in academic medicine where he diagnosed and treated challenging cases involving all parts of the spine.Dr. Reyna also has extensive experience treating the more typical spine problems seen in adults such as disc herniation, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, and spondylothesis. In his free time, Dr. Reyna enjoys playing racquetball, writing, photography, and spending time with his wife and kids.
