I earned a certificate in fellowship training from the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and the Society for American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. I am also proud to have won the Wendell Levi Award for surgical leadership from the Medical University of South Carolina, and being a member of the Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. \n My patient care philosophy is to treat each patient as if they were my family member.
