Biography: Dr. Kamel is the Helen and Albert Moon Professor, Chief of Neurocritical Care, and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine. He also directs the Clinical and Translational Neuroscience Unit in the Feil Family Brain and Mind Research Institute at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is the Deputy Editor of JAMA Neurology and an editorial board member of Stroke. His academic contributions have been recognized by the Michael S. Pessin Stroke Leadership Prize from the American Academy of Neurology, and the Robert G. Siekert New Investigator Award in Stroke, the Joseph A. Vita Award, and the Stroke Council Award from the American Heart Association.

Biography: Jai S. Perumal, MD, is a neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens and an assistant professor of neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine. She is an attending neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and faculty at the Weill Cornell Multiple Sclerosis Center.
