Biography: Dr. Wilson attended the University of Texas at Austin and then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1980. He then completed an OB/GYN residency at the University of Texas Southwestern at Parkland Memorial Hospital and has been in private practice in McAllen since 1984. Dr. Martinez has served his community as Chief of OB/GYN and Chief of Staff at Valley Regional Medical Center and Brownsville Medical Center. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Valley Regional Medical Center. Dr. Martinez's community service includes over 30 years of volunteering his time and expertise to the Cameron County Maternity Clinic and indigent care of Brownsville's women.
