Care Philosophy: As the eldest child of a diplomat, Dr. Egunsola is well travelled though she spent her formative years here in the U.S. She double majored in chemistry and mathematics at Lafayette college a premiere liberal arts college in Pennsylvania. She then went onto Emory University where she did her medical school. She stayed at Emory for her general surgery residency a highly regarded, nationally-ranked research and medical institution. She completed her extensive training with a colorectal surgery fellowship at Northwell Health.With all of her training at these top institutions, she is skilled in performing robotic, laparoscopic and open surgeries. Dr. Egunsola's clinical interests include, but are not limited to, colon cancer, rectal cancer, anal cancer, diverticulitis, Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis and various anorectal diseases (e.g. hemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas).
