Care Philosophy: Samuel Holmes, MD, is double board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and pain management. His goal is to provide comprehensive, integrative, multidisciplinary care to include medication management, interventional procedures, education and guidance to better understand and transcend the complexities of chronic pain. He fully believes the patient-provider relationship is central to this endeavor. Dr. Holmes is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Medical Association, and Society of Medical Consultants to the Armed Forces. Dr. Holmes is the former Chief of the Interdisciplinary Pain Management Center at Madigan Army Medical Center on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, where he and Dr. Adam Olsson developed and implemented multiple systems and programs of health for service members, retirees, veterans and their family members.

Care Philosophy: Donna Smith, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in complex hand/wrist/elbow trauma, carpal tunnel syndrome and Dupuytren's disease. Dr. Smith strives to get to know her patients and develop treatment plans tailored to their needs. She encourages patients to ask questions to ensure they understand their condition and the options for treatment, and she assists them to make educated decisions about their health. Her goal is to help patients improve function and quality of life. Dr. Smith is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS). She is a member of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association and American Medical Association. Away from work, Dr. Smith enjoys ice hockey, golf and spending time with family.

Care Philosophy: Medical care for many foot and ankle conditions are often as simple as an orthotic or a brace. However, more involved complicated cases sometimes require foot or ankle surgery to correct the underlying problem or deformity. Dr. Scheinost has been in practice in Puyallup for 18 years specializing in complicated foot and ankle reconstructive and revisional surgery. His practice philosophy has always been to treat conditions conservatively without surgery at first, unless the condition will only be resolved with surgery.
