She also served on the medical staff for several running events, including the Philadelphia Marathon. In addition to traveling with USA Gymnastics, Dr. Bassett is also the head team physician for Sussex County Community College and provides sideline medical coverage formany local high schools across Sussex and Morris Counties. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, presentations and book chapters on the diagnosis and management of sports-related injuries.
