We will address your orthopedic problems together with the goal of getting you back to the activities you love. Many of us love the same activities. I am passionate about skiing, biking, golf, scuba diving, cooking and old muscle cars as well. It is truly my privilege to help people live active lives, do so with less pain and restriction, and become friends along the way. I would rather have people understand that I would like to help people rather than that I trained well. Medicine is fun, because you can have relationships with people. It was great to serve as a military field surgeon before entering my residency at Fitzsimmons hospital. One can still feel a little altruism about serving our country.

Care Philosophy: I believe that all patients should be treated wtih respect and dignity. Every patient deserves the direct attention and examination by their physician, not just by a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant. My staff and I work hard to limit waiting times to 30 minutes or less. We try to make your visit as comfortable and professional as possible. I review the results of the examination, xrays, and other studies, etc., with the patient and do everything I can to help them understand their condition and the treatment options I recommend. Good decisions are the result of shared knowledge and mutual respect. Good decisions lead to good results.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Maa believes that treating patients with epilepsy begins by learning a patient's history and understanding how epilepsy has impacted different aspects of life. This approach provides a better understanding of how to integrate medication therapy, support services, surgical interventions, and clinical trials most effectively.
