Biography: Manisha Patel, MD, FACS, is a board-certified physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians Heart & Vascular who specializes in cardiothoracic surgery. Dr. Patel has significant experience in cardiothoracic surgery, research, education, and program leadership. She was inspired to pursue a career as a cardiothoracic surgeon after working as a research assistant under preeminent cardiac surgeon Shukri Khuri, MD, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Roxbury, MA.
