Biography: Adam Misasi, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons with Ascentist Healthcare. Dr. Misasi earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency in general surgery in Wichita, Kansas. As a general surgeon, Dr. Misasi performs a wide-variety of operations with a minimally-invasive approach, including robot-assisted surgery. He has special interest in disorders that affect the GI tract, including reflux.

Care Philosophy: My care philosophy is rooted in enhancing surgical care by upholding the highest standards of quality, ethics, and patient-centered practices. I am dedicated to ensuring that every individual receives optimal treatment in a compassionate and professional environment.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Frydenlund strives to educate each patient to the best of his ability about their disease process and what options they have for treatment. He believes in individualized care plans and that by making sure every patient knows what to expect before surgery he can improve recovery and reduce suffering.

Biography: Dr. Smith is a board-certified general surgeon with Independence Surgical Clinic.He is from Central Missouri. He studied biochemistry at the University of Missouri Columbia, then attended medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. While in Denver, Dr. Smith was awarded the Golden Apple Teaching award as a Chief Resident.
