He received his undergraduate degree at University of Wisconsin and received his Doctor of Medicine degree at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. He completed residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. He is Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.His interest in orthopedic surgery began during medical school when he rotated through different areas of medicine. During an emergency medicine rotation he was able to observe orthopedic surgeons take care of trauma patients with serious injuries. It was then that he decided to pursue a career in orthopedics.Dr. Simon enjoys the ability to take patients with injuries or chronic pain and make their lives better. Dr. Richard T. Steffen received his medical training from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami and performed his residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center at LAckland Air Force Base. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has completed his fellowship in sports medicine.
