Care Philosophy: My goal, as a colon and rectal surgeon and as a surgical oncologist is to help my patients make informed decisions in their care and understand their disease process and treatment options, both surgical and non-surgical. Biography: Ashley Schreier, D.O., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine within the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine, and Assistant Attending physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Schreier treats patients with all forms of breast cancer. She has a special interest in caring for those with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), which has been the emphasis of her research.Dr. Schreier received her B.S. in 2012 from Cornell University. She then entered medical school at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. During her time in medical school, Dr. Schreier was inducted into the Osteopathic Scholastic Honor Society and Service Fraternity as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She also received the Glasgow Rubin Achievement Award, a prestigious honor reserved for those who graduate in the top 10% of their medical school class. After graduating medical school in 2017, Dr. Schreier began her residency in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center where she was awarded the Outstanding House Officer in Ambulatory Care Medicine Award as well as the Barry Mishkin Award for Humanity, Ethics, and Excellence in the Practice of Medicine. She continued her medical training at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian (WCM/NYP) with a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology. During her fellowship at WCM/NYP, Dr. Schreier focused her clinical efforts within the field of breast oncology and became involved in research projects in TNBC. Her main research focus has been developing a translational research pipeline through her collaboration with Dr. Roberta Zappasodi's laboratory and focusing on novel immunotherapy strategies in breast cancer.

Biography: Dr. Shipra Kaicker is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and Associate Attending Pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Her clinical areas of interest are pediatric hematology, platelet disorders, immune cytopenias, anemias, sickle cell disease and bone marrow failure syndromes. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. Dr. Kaicker received her M.B.B.S. degree at Lady Hardinge Medical College at the University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. She completed her M.D. and Pediatric Residency at Maulana Azad Medical College, also at the University of New Delhi, where she also served as Senior Registrar (Chief Resident) in Pediatrics. Dr. Kaicker expanded her training in New York City, where she completed a Post-Doctoral Clinical Fellowship and Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship, both in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, at Columbia University Medical Center, and an additional Pediatric Residency at Saint Vincent's Medical Center. Biography: Dr. Iwamoto is a neuro-oncologist whose previous training includes a neurology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and a neuro-oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. For over three years, Dr. Iwamoto was an attending physician and an investigator at the Neuro-oncology Branch, a trans-institute branch of the National Cancer Institute and National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, in Bethesda, MD. At the intramural NIH, Dr. Iwamoto was a principal investigator in early phase clinical trials for brain tumors and worked with laboratory and computational scientists on several translational projects in brain tumors. Dr. Iwamoto was recruited to Columbia University as the Deputy Director of the Neuro-oncology Division and is actively developing the clinical and translational research components of this program. He is an expert in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of brain and spinal cord tumors as well as neurological complications of cancer.

He is also appointed as the Chief of the Division of Neuro-Oncology in the Department of Neurology.Dr. Fine received his medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School in Boston. Dr. Fine founded and Directed the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Center for Neuro-Oncology at Harvard Medical School, and the Neuro-Oncology Branch, at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Fine most recently served as Chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology and as Deputy Director of the New York University Cancer CenterDr. Fine has a 26 year history of clinical and research work exclusively devoted to patients with brain tumors. He has run a basic and translational science laboratory continuously for those 26 years and has been involved in well over 100 brain tumor clinical trials. Biography: Aya Haggiagi, MD is an assistant professor of neurology at CUIMC, in the Division of Neuro-Oncology. Dr. Haggiagi is board certified in Neurology and Neuro-Oncology. She graduated with highest honors from the University of Al-Fateh School of Medicine in Tripoli, Libya. She subsequently completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia, under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Shelanski, where her research focused on biochemical and genetic changes in neurofibrillary tangle predominant dementia. Dr. Haggiagi then pursued her medicine internship training at Westchester Medical Center, followed by neurology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. After residency, she completed a two-year fellowship in Neuro-Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Haggiagi was an attending physician and an investigator at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center prior to returning to NYP/CUIMC. She is the recipient of the Society for Neuro-Oncology 2017 Best Abstract Award. Her research interests include the development of clinical trials, precision medicine, and neurologic complications of immunotherapy.

Biography: Dr. John Park is the Chief of the Department of Neurological Surgery at NewYorkPresbyterian Queens and a Professor of Clinical Neurological Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. A board-certified and award-winning neurosurgeon, Dr. Park has particular expertise in the treatment of brain and spinal tumors, CSF leaks, and degenerative disorders of the cervical and lumbar spine. While at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Park developed a national reputation for the surgical treatment of low-grade gliomas and recurrent malignant gliomas and served as the principal neurosurgeon for patients enrolled in NCI clinical trials for malignant gliomas. Before joining the faculty at the Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center, Dr, Park founded and served as the medical director of the multidisciplinary Brain and Spinal Tumor Program at Cottage Health in Santa Barbara, now the largest such program on the central coast of California. While in Santa Barbara, he also had an active practice providing neurosurgical treatment for patients with neck and low back pain and other disorders of the spine. At the Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center, he is the co-Director of the CSF Leak Program. Dr. Park is the only neurosurgeon in Queens to be named a Castle Conolly Top Doctor as well as a New York Metro Super Doctor. Dr. Park received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude with honors, from Brown University and earned his MD and Ph.D. degrees at Harvard Medical School. He completed his residency training at Harvard at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Children's Hospital and completed a fellowship at Dana Farber Cancer Institute
