Dr. Afshar is very conscientious and informative. The fellow (did not catch her name) was also very good.

Dr. Afshar's knowledge and expertise, coupled with his ability to listen, empathize, and explain make you feel you are in the right hands immediately. I'm naturally drawn to medical research and I ask a lot of questions. I was referred to him as a potential ocular lymphoma case (I know, sounds scary), which turned out to be benign, but throughout the entire process I knew I could trust everything I heard. The ophthalmologist who referred me to him also said he was one of the top eye docs in San Francisco. I do not hesitate to recommend him!
