Not well run...
I would highly recommend anyone avoid this office. They have been incredibly hard to deal with, defensive at every turn, and often unresponsive. Due to their policy change, after 2 years of visits, we were forced to start over at UCSF with our daughter, and we only found out our procedure was canceled when we called to confirm 2 weeks before the operation. Getting critical information and context to UCSF has been like pulling teeth; her record remains incomplete. I suggest anyone looking for a well-run doctor's office go somewhere else... Your eyes are too important to risk!I am thankful we have had to move to UCSF as I lack confidence in this doctor and his staff.

Stay away! They will treat you not as a patient but as an opportunity to charge as much as they can get away with. I imagine that Dr. Goodman is good at what he does but this office will inflate and invent charges that make no sense. I went for a simple vision exam, to get my eyeglasses prescription updated, which should have been covered by VSP no problem. Oops! Somehow this turned into a charge for hundreds of dollars to my health insurance for a “comprehensive exam.” You see, even though I made it extremely clear that I was just there for the vision exam, Dr. Goodman invited himself into the room for literally one minute, looked into my eyes, said everything’s OK, and boom! That’s what they call “comprehensive” and justifies their charging hundreds of dollars for one minute of the doctor’s time. I've called many times to get this resolved and the staff has been self-righteous and condescending and couldn't care less about doing the right thing. Fraudulent!

Dr Goodman did my cataract surgery. I was very nervous during the surgery but he found the words to help me calm down. He did an amazing job and his team is very professional.

I recently had two cataract surgeries (one for each eye) with Dr. Goodman and am very happy with the results. He was also quite responsive to my anxiety which I appreciated very much. I can honestly recommend him highly.

Goodman is nothing more than a salesman. His only objective will be to run you through his very expensive Lasix procedure. He misdiagnosed the disease in my right eye and worsened my vision with a series of expensive procedures. Fortunately, the doctors at UC Davis in Sacramento were able to restore my vision to the pre-Goodman level. The man is a fraud.
