I'm not sure why, but every time I have an upcoming appointment, I receive a text message the week prior to inform me that my appointment has been canceled due to the provider being out of the office. Not only do they cancel my appointment, it is up to ME to call them to reschedule. And when I do call to reschedule, I am met with an unprofessional person, then I am rescheduled for an appointment another 3 weeks out! This has now happened 3 times in a row and over 2 months. At this point, I just need a new doctor. First, someone from the office should CALL and say, 'I'm sorry, but Dr. Lieser will be out of the office on X-date so we need to reschedule your appointment. How does X-date sound?' Secondly, since I'm the one being inconvenienced, my appointment should be within the next week. But that's all too much like right, huh? The office staff and the provider could use a lesson in common courtesy and communication.

Fed Up
While I like Dr. Lieser himself, I have had it with his incompetent staff. I have had nothing but problems, fairly big ones, EVERY time I have to do anything there. I will now be looking for another doctor.

Dr Lieser poor patient attention
Dr Lieser came to exam room ( both times) in a hurry. I didn’t feel like I had his full attention. During the 1st visit he checked his watch several times and answered text. In the second visit he said, when came in, that he was in a hurry because he had just got called into surgery.

Great doctor, office staff needs help
Dr. Lieser is nothing but awesome. I've called 2x to get on the schedule for a procedure the past 2 weeks. I have not had anyone get back to me. I've been nothing but polite on the phone. I have even waited until today 7/28 after 5 pm to leave my review in case they called.

Good doctor, mediocre staff
First visit, I arrived there to find out that they needed to reschedule my appointment. They texted 3x to remind me to be there, but not for the cancellation. They called once to reschedule and at work I missed the call. They also billed my FSA (and did not reimburse for the appointment). The credit for the appointment covered the next appointment. That next appointment was wonderful. The doctor saw me on time, the time with him was efficient and he is very knowledgeable. I would see him again, but will not put my card in system ahead of visit and will call to confirm before making the drive.

First Appointment
Although the office is in the next city, over from where I live, I chose Dr. Lieser, because he partners with Richardson Methodist medical center, which is closer to me than the hospital used by my previous physician. The office was busy, had a lot of patients, but a nice facility. I was seen close to my appointment time, on May 8th. I was sent somewhere else for a test, on May 18th. It is now July 26th, and I have not heard back from Dr. Lieser’s office.

I have a lot of confidence in the doctor. However, my most recent appointment was for 11:20 and I saw the doctor at 1PM. To make matters worse, I was there to find out if I had cancer. No one had the decency to tell me the doctor was running late.

My review of Dr. Lieser
I came in for my annual prostrate checkup. The thing I like about Dr Lieser is that he appears to have a high level of confidence in the information he provides me. Which makes me feel that I can trust his advice and recommendations. We have a very good rapports. I feel he is very honest and he has my best interest in all that he recommends. One of the best doctors that I have ever had the pleasure to know. All this is so important when you’re depending on the information that can affect your health.

Unprofessional with bad management
Brilliant doctor very easy to get along with. But many of the staff are often very rude. The office has bad communication and never returns phone calls. I’ve had multiple billing issues with them. The office said they would send a prescription over that I was already waiting 6 weeks for. I called two weeks later to check the status of it since the pharmacy stated they'd yet to receive anything. The front desk personnel stated it was sent two weeks ago. An MA called me back to the state they were short-staffed and it would probably take 2-3 more weeks to send off the prescription. So this office didn't do what it said it would do and didn't communicate when it didn't happen. Then lied in their database that it was done. This is not what I want in a doctor's office.

Unprofessional
The day of diagnosis, we were yelled at in front of everyone by the office manager. I understand COVID is serious and we have to be mindful, but we were told we could be there. But the OM decided to tell us loudly in front of everyone. That was embarrassing. Now my dad doesn't speak much English, so I go to his appointments to help him translate and help him. The doctor came in rushed, and sat down and started speaking quickly. I asked him nicely to slow down so I could translate and he says, "Oh well I barely got a few sentences in but okay." So I brush it off. & then he, in a joking, non-chalant manner, looks at my dad, and says, "Well, you do have cancer so there's that." And then through the whole appointment, he kept mentioning, "yeah there's a very high likely chance he'll end up dying from something else and not this." Like, thanks? Regardless of his credentials, he just did not have any professionalism, and acted very annoyed every time I translated. We left extremely upset.
