Dr Smerlis is dedicated and a great doctor. He is personable and willing to explain any procedure. My husband and I have both had hand surgeries and recommend Dr Smerlis to all.

I had a terrible injury to my dominate right hand on 27 May 2020.
The following day, I visited my PCM, Dr. Thompson who immediately scheduled me to see a surgeon, Dr. Smerlis. Within 5 minutes, I was in Dr. Smerlis’s office. He stayed late to see me. Dr. Smerlis told me exactly what he planned to do.
On Tuesday, 2 June, Dr. Smerlis performed the surgery.
The staff professionally prepped me for surgery. They were angels in my eyes. All I remember was going into the surgery room, receiving the the shot to put me asleep, then I woke up in the dressing room and changing cloths. Dr. Smerlis came out to greet me and my wife and told me what he had done.
Since, I have had 3 physical therapy sessions and a follow on visit with Dr. Smerlis. His office removed the stitches. Dr. Smerlis looked over my hand and was happy. I am blessed to have had Dr. Smerlis and his group of angels caring for me.
I have nothing but kudos for Dr Smerlis, Dr. Thompson, and all those involved!

Dr Smerlis was my mother’s and spouse’s physician, excellent service. When my carpel tunnel syndrome got worse he had left his prior practice. I saw another physician. I was able to find him when a coworker was going to him. So I was very happy to find him.
