Referred, no response
Was referred by Dr Stewart at OSC to their pain management clinic. Dr Sureja's staff asked for a records release so he could decide whether or not to take me on as a patient. Signed the release that same day. Four months later and still nothing. I was in serious pain, scared to death about my prognosis and desperate for help. He clearly didn't care enough to even have his staff follow up. Pathetic excuse for a doctor.

Arrogant, rude, no compassion ,irritated that we were sent there by another Doctor in the practice. Some of that may have been due to how late he was running. Rushed, about a 5 minute visit. My 91 year old mother was crying when she left . Complete waste of time.

Dr. Sureja is a knowledgeable professional determined to figure out what it takes to improve the patient’s pain and quality of life. He is compassionate; he clearly explains everything, answers questions and listens to suggestions a patient may offer. He looks beyond the physical problems of pain management to include the psychological problems that often coexist with pain such as depression. He pays close attention to the whole person, not just the painful area. He is outstanding.

For one old soldier, they don't come any better period. Always insuring my feelings and pain level were at the foremost, I was treated like a "human", instead of a number.

I have had injection in my neck in the spine a few times and had the worst pain and experience from it. It was traumatic. So when I went to see Dr Sureja I was terriefied. He was amazing he talks to you explains everything in detail he is very comforting. He is calming. As he inserted the lidocaine he calmly talked me though it and it didn't really hurt when my last times by another Dr it was excruciatingly painful. Then he made sure to tell me if I felt ANY discomfort to let him now right away.

Doctor, nurses and staff are rude and not friendly at all. I felt very uncomfortable during my visit. He never ask me about my pain just wrote me 2 strong narcotics. I refused the scripts and left before he could say anything. He should be investigated by the DEAL for running a pill mill. I have already reported him.

Before having to choose a pain management doctor I did my research. I must admit some reviews of Dr Sureja had me worried. I am going to him after a 3rd spinal fusion from C2 to T3 with decompression of my spinal cord at T1-T3. He never treated me as a drug seeker, I've never had to plead for my med refills nor feel as if I'm being unheard and most important he make me feel part of my treatment, my feelings matter. He and staff are top notch. I am not pain free but It is a work in progress.

He doesn't always truly HEAR what his patient is saying to him, rushing to the wrong conclusion. This is very damaging to the trust of the patient. He is also very condescending towards his patient. He came across as though he thinks everyone is just out to get drugs for invalid reasons. At least this was my experience with this doctor. I received no lasting help with pain relief from this man. In the end, just as I had tried to tell him, my pain was ended by surgery, but not from where he works!

I have had 2 back surgeries the last one was 14months ago also a knee replacement 17 months ago, so I have seen Dr Sureja quite often. My knee hasn't done as well as expected I had another procedure done to straighten out my knee which helped. I was still using a cane and some pain, cannot take pain meds. Dr Sureja suggested a nerve block in my knee which is some shots. It worked wonders he has given me back part of my life I thought I had lost. I can now bowl again. Thank you Dr Sureja.

I started treating with Dr. Sureja about 5 years ago. He did my first epidural and I am so scared of injections. Dr. Sureja has a wonderful, calm manner and he explained everything he was doing. Since my first visit, he has given me over 10 epidurals. I trust him completely. He also injected PRP in my severely painful elbow(tennis elbow). Even though the shot hurt (no fault of his) at the end of my fingers, the PRP really healed me in about a month and kept me from having surgery! A++++++
