She completed her undergraduate education at Cornell University in upstate NY, earned her medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NYC, and completed her orthopedic surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She went on to complete additional fellowship training in Hand and Microsurgery at Washington University, St. Louis, MO. Dr. Yannascoli is interested in treating all conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and forearm in patients of all ages. This includes arthritis, nerve disorders and injury, acute and chronic traumatic injuries, complex wrist and elbow fractures, microsurgical repair of nerve and vascular conditions, tendonitis, and reconstruction of problems affecting the upper extremity resulting from cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, and stroke.
