Biography: Dr. Smith is a board-certified general surgeon with Independence Surgical Clinic.He is from Central Missouri. He studied biochemistry at the University of Missouri Columbia, then attended medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. While in Denver, Dr. Smith was awarded the Golden Apple Teaching award as a Chief Resident.

Biography: Dr. Clinton Gates, MD is a General Surgery Specialist who practices in Overland Park, KS. He is 37 years old and has been practicing for 11 years. Dr. Clinton Gates, MD is affiliated with Centerpoint Medical Center and Lee's Summit Medical Center.
