Biography: Tina Creekmore, MD completed her fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery in 2010 at Texas Children's Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children in Houston. She received her medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, and then completed her orthopedic residency at Louisiana State University - Shreveport. She earned her bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she was a collegiate gymnast and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr Creekmore is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. She is especially interested in clubfoot, cerebral palsy and pediatric bone deformities. In her spare time she enjoys skiing and biking. She is married to a professor and has one young son. Dr. Creekmore is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America.

Biography: David R. Schmidt, M.D., received his medical degree and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he was named the 2002 Distinguished Medical Alumnus. He completed fellowships in sports medicine and knee surgery in Sydney, Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand.Dr. Schmidt has been in private practice since 1986. He served as physician for the U.S. Olympic Festival, the World University Games in Japan, the Olympic Games in Atlanta and the NBA All-Star Game. He currently serves as the team physician for the NBA San Antonio Spurs, the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) athletics, Trinity University and many local high school. He was named the NBATA Team Physician of the Year in 2004, and was awarded the 2007 Dr. Ernst Jokl Sports Medicine Award by the United States Sports Academy. He currently serves as president elect of the NBA Physicians Association.Dr. Schmidt is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Biography: John Edeen III, MD joined Pediatric Orthopedic Associates of San Antonio in 1997. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Columbia College in New York, New York. While there, he earned three varsity letters in rowing. He graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1985. While there, he participated on the rugby team. Dr. Edeen's surgery internship was at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oakland, California. Following his internship, he served as the medical officer aboard the USS Peleliu (LHA-5), an amphibious assault ship. He completed a six-month deployment to the Western Pacific. Dr. Edeen did his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oakland, California from 1988 to 1992. He then served as a general orthopedic surgeon at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He served as the Orthopedic Department Head and deployed to Somalia with a surgical team sent to the USS Peleliu in support of Operation Restore Hope.After discharge from the U.S. Navy, he did his Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Springfield, Massachusetts from 1994 to 1996.Dr. Edeen is Board Certified and specializes in knee surgery and sports injuries as well as general pediatric orthopedics. Dr. Edeen is a member of AAOS, POSNA, Texas Orthopedic Association, San Antonio Orthopedic Society, and Bexar County Medical Society, where he serves on the Emergency Preparedness Committee.Dr. Edeen is married and enjoys mountain biking, hunting, and shooting sports.
