Biography: Dr Orlick is the founding partner of the practice. Born and raised in St Petersburg, Dr. Orlick has been proud to serve his community since 1991. After achieving the highest honors at the University of South Florida studying Natural sciences, Dr. Orlick completed his medical studies at the Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Following an internship in internal medicine at the University of Miami, he completed his Ophthalmology training at Tulane University in New Orleans. His interest in diseases of the retina led him to accept fellowship training under Dr. David Meyers at the Vitreoretinal Foundation, Memphis, Tennessee. After a number of years away from home, Dr Orlick returned to St. Petersburg to begin his career as a vitreoretinal specialist and surgeon. His private practice obligations have been balanced by one of his main clinical interests: teaching. For the past twenty years, he has continued volunteering his time in the eye clinic of James A. Haley VA hospital, supervising in the care of veterans while teaching ophthalmology residents. Dr Orlick has vast experience in treating a variety of retinal diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears and detachments, macular pucker and holes, retinal vein occlusions, and uveitis.

This tradition of providing excellent comprehensive medical and surgical eye care to the community is carried on today by Dr. Lee Shettle, who has been practicing as a Board Certified Ophthalmologist in Largo since 1994. He received the Presidential Achievement Award from the A.O.C.O.O. in addition to being voted Physician of the Year by the Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society in 2006. Dr. Lee Shettle is actively involved in his local, state and national medical organizations in order to stay current with all the rules and regulations that affect the practice of medicine and ultimately patient care. He is certified by the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
