Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits.Dr. Salim Mehio has been a physician at the Frist Clinic since 2002. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. He received his B.S. in Biology, and also attended medical school at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, where he graduated with distinction. He then completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of Iowa, and a residency in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital, part of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MA, and served as Chief Resident while there. ??Dr. Mehio also completed a fellowship at the University of Southern California in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. In addition to being published many times, Dr. Mehio has been the recipient of several awards and honors. He continues pursue his education through attending advanced training programs and is highly qualified to provide care to his patients.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Lauren Ventola is committed to providing quality patient care while maintaining compassion. She is dedicated to helping her patients navigate a sometimes complex medical system and empower them to become advocates for their own healthcare through education.

Biography: Susan Garwood, MD received her medical degree from University of Texas at Houston medical School in Houston Texas. She completed an Internal Medical residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She also completed her Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina. She is a member of the ACCP, ATS and The American Medical Association. Dr. Garwood is also board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine. Her time outside of patient care is dedicated to her two children. She enjoys travel, reading, exercise and spending time with family.
