Biography: Dr. Christopher Chaput is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon. Biography: After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Ralph J. Bud Curtis received his medical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he also completed a residency program in orthopaedic surgery and a post-graduate fellowship in shoulder surgery.Srince 1986, he has been a clinical faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He has authored eight text book chapters in orthopaedics and sports medicine. Dr. Curtis is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, is a member of the American Orthopaedic Surgeons, and is subspecialty certified in sports medicine.He serves as a team physician for many San Antonio area high schools and the University of the Incarnate Word. He also serves shoulders consultant for the NBA San Antonio Spurs.Dr. Curtis serves on the board of directors for the Texas High School Coaches Foundation. He is a past president of the Texas Society of Sports Medicine and is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicines and the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons.Dr. Curtis has been honored with Distinguished Service Awards by the Southwest Athletic Trainers Association and the Texas High School Coaches Association.
