In addition to his active clinical practice in colon and rectal surgery, he directs the surgical residency program overseeing the training of 31 surgical residents each year. He participates in research and has been a co-author of peer-reviewed studies published in Surgical Endoscopy and Gastrointestinal Surgery. Dr. Foglia's clinical interests are in minimally invasive and robotic surgery as it relates to the treatment of colorectal conditions such as cancer, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
